Belly of the Sun (2026)

Video Panorámica, curated and organized by Mijal Melnick and Felipe Ulloa, was a one-night video art exhibition that sought to bring video art into dialogue with public space. The exhibition took place at Galería La Fuerza, using the gallery’s windows overlooking Plaza Italia as a large-scale projection surface that was visible from the street.

The program brought together more than 35 works by artists working with moving image, including Hito Steyerl, Harun Farocki, Francis Alÿs, Yoshua Okón and Carlos Amorales, among others.

The exhibition was open to the public from 7:00 to 10:00 PM and was free of charge. Around 200 people attended specifically for the exhibition, alongside passersby who encountered the projections from Plaza Italia.
