Seeing attends sensory unit (2020)

Seeing Attends Sensory Unit is a two channel video installation which explores the architecture of parliaments around the world which specifically obtained the semi-circle seating arrangement. The semi-circle, as an abstract shape, informs their supposed democratic function. The work looks at the acoustic infrastructure of parliament and apparatuses that utilize speech and listening, as well as seating arrangements, lighting, and the announcement systems.
